What We Do...

Inland Group, LLC, (“Inland”) is a multi-disciplinary company offering civil engineering design, development and construction services for their Clients ranging from retail, office, multi-family and mixed-use markets to municipal organizations.  Inland was started, in August of 2007, when four dynamic individuals decided an opportune time had come to combine their talents.  The Inland founders are Jon Amsberry, Rich Fogarty, Eric Johansen and Chaz Waters.  Together, this team has over 50 years of combined experience in the land development field with the ability to handle many civil engineering or land development related issues.

 Our design team consists of Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Land Planning, Construction Management and Building Design disciplines.  We decided to offer this full array of services to our Clients to better enable the overall design and harmony of the projects and truly blend site development and infrastructure with the building footprint and aesthetics.  The design team’s experience ranges from a 1 acre out-parcels with bank branches and fast food restaurants to master planning over 100 acres slated for dense mixed-use development including big-box retail, traditional strip retail centers, out-parcels, hotels, offices, senior and multi-family housing products.  The design team can assist our Clients with any necessary development related services to include; due diligence, conceptual design, rezonings, variances, public hearing representation, construction documents, project specifications, permitting, renderings, marketing and budgeting of their developments.

Our construction management and development team is made up of individuals who served as former President’s of separate General Contracting companies.  Their skill sets allow Inland to assist our Clients with the acquisition and entitlement of property, to the site and vertical construction modes associated with proposed developments.  Together, this team has developed property and constructed buildings in excess of $200,000,000 in value.  This team has worked on local mixed-use projects in the metro Atlanta area such as, Charleston Gate Office Condominiums and Old Milton Village in the City of Alpharetta, Berkeley Lake Village in the City of Berkeley Lake, Satellite Park at Huntcrest, Cross Creek Village and Riverside Plaza in unincorporated Gwinnett County.  The team also has previously performed turn-key facility and site specific conversions for BP Amoco, ConAgra, Dow Chemical, Diamond Plastics, Einstein Brothers, General Electric, PepsiCo and Shaw Industries.  The construction management and development team assists our Clients by providing preliminary and final budgets, obtaining bids for respective scopes of work, administrating contracts with subcontractors, construction administration, construction management and project closeout.

Inland’s primary goal is to ensure our client obtains their best possible project by assisting them with meeting their specific land use and development needs.  We believe that with the combination of our teams total skill sets we can provide value engineering to the development throughout the entire design and construction process. 

Inland remains active in the local community as a member of the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce.  Our members also serve on various boards and committees related to the design and development business.
